Subject: Selling restored 1956 Chevy Cameo Pickup I'm selling my 1956 restored Chevy Cameo pickup (only 1452 built in '56) which I've owned for the past 15 or so years. It has a rebuilt 327 (w/all the bells and whistles), early Corvette on the floor 4 speed, new oak bed w/red powder coated bed rails, exterior sun visor, twin spotlights, working AM radio & deluxe heater, new www Coker radial tires, color: white w/red trim, new red & white upholstery(mohair & naughahyde), 3 seat belts, complete new wiring harness, new shocks, new door weather strip, new windshield and rear window rubber, less than 500 miles on body and running gear since restoration, new cab corners, new chrome front bumper and rechromed "V" hood ornament, NO RUST(body treated with zinc) plus more. Basically an original Cameo with the exception of the engine and transmission. I've reduced my price to $21,500/OBO. Reason for selling: I'm 73 years old and the middle of this September I'm having to replace the original replacement of my right hip. My left hip has also been replaced along with a replaced right knee plus 3 back operations. (No, I'm not the Bionic Man....with all these operations, far, far from it. So my days of classic truck/car restoration and enjoyment is coming to a close. Now, what needs to be completed: Doors need to be "fine tuned"(adjusted better), tail lights, top bed rails and front bed chrome could be replated for show....(OK for a driver), put in interior white headliner molding(which I have) I've tried to be as accurate as possible in describing my Cameo but if you need additional info or pictures email me at email me or call 509-653-2997.
