"Only a BIKER knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window"

We purchased our 2003 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Nomad in Aug of 2005
Now wonder why we hadn't moved up to a big cruiser LONG before!
Connie and I both rode smaller bikes but wanted to get a bit more saddle time together--can't beat that!!

The 1981 Kawasaki LTD 550 I owned was for SOME reason, not as comfy as it was a few years ago,
I think the padding in the seat lost its density--could be our butts--one of them did ANYWAY!
  Connie rode a 1985 Honda Rebel 250 and I rode the 550.
Now we want to take on some longer trips, not to mention MORE comfort for those TRIPS!
We're still keeping the smaller bikes --SHOOT-- 'cause they're still just Plain-Out FUN to ride!

When we decided to Purchase, shopping around for a few days revealed this SWEET 2003 Nomad with decent mileage (8300).  Connie fell in love with it first--although she didn't have to twist MY arm TOO much !!
Within a couple of days the arrangements were made and that SWEET SWEET  bike was ours!!
Because it's LOADED--We've just totally enjoyed this bike--
The Only thing we've done is widen the passenger backrest with one from Mustang Seats.  Connie didn't like the 4 inch wide version, (it made her feel--"wobblly" {:0\  )... the curved 8 inch version is MUCH more stable.
With all the accessories for show and comfort, I'm happy and it makes the Mrs. Happy--
And you KNOW the sayin--
IF MOMMA AIN'T HAPPY--AIN'T NO BODY HAPPY!!!
(ain't it the TRUTH!!)
