I bought this car this past Spring, I was going to complete it but, I found another car. Here are the specifications on the car. It was built as a race car and it does have a tremendous amount of power. In order to run it on the street the rear end gears would need to be changed.
Engine: 350ci (.40 over)  -  Manifold: Edelbrock  -  Carburetor: Holley Model 750 CFM Dual Feed Four Barrel Retail ($483.94)
Transmission: Chevrolet Turbo 400 with shift kit.
Rear End: Eaton Positive Traction with 373 Gears
All new front end parts  -  Electronic Ignition  -  14" Chevrolet Rally  -  New long life battery (June 2009)
The truck has a very solid bed and under carriage for the year.
Duraglass was used over the dents. Body is in really good shape for the year.
New paint but there is runs in clear coat
The truck appears to have new rear shocks.
AC and heater core have been removed.
The truck originally had a V-6 that was replaced with a 350 V-8.
The interior is rough but, I have the interior door panels.
I do not know the mileage since the V-8 was installed. This is a response I got from the guy who did the engine:   Hi the engine is a 355 less than 2000 miles i know I built it thank you Chuck."
The motor appears to have been installed within the last couple of years.
The engine, transmission, and rear end are worth the asking price alone. You could remove them and place all these items in another project.
The speedometer cable is broken so I can't give an accurate mileage reading. I have listed it at 91,200 miles, but that might not be accurate. keep that in mind when bidding. The car is almost thirty years old so most states would consider it's mileage to be exempt, check with you state DMV for make sure. As with any car this age it is being sold without a warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied.
