Vestal New York

The car is equipped with a 350 four barrel, three speed turbo hydromantic
transmission with an Edelbrock manifold, Accel electronic ignition and headers.
The vehicle has a paint job that is less than one year old, two coats of primer,
three coats of acrylic enamel and two coats of clear, this was done before I
bought the car last October, they also put on a new vinyl top. It was painted by
a professional paint shop out of Copake, New York. The body is in beautiful
condition and I can't see that it has any filler in it at all. The metal is
smooth all the way around. They did not paint the door jams or trunk jam, that
is a minor fix considering how nice the body on the car is. The bottoms of the
door and trunk jam will need a little body work but, that is an easy remedy.
Okay, I will go through what I have done to the car since I bought it. The best
way is to go from the front to the back. I replaced the radiator, thermostat and
changed out the hoses. I took off all the air conditioning components and
replaced the heater core and used an AC delete panel at the firewall. I also
replaced the plastic inner fender skirts, valve covers, brake master cylinder
and installed a new battery. A local shop here in town replaced the upper and
lower ball joints and left front outer tie rod end and did a front end
alignment. They also mounted two news tires, put on a set of rear brakes and put
on a new set of air shocks in the rear. The car also has a new exhaust system
from the headers back. The windshield was replaced by Safelite Auto Glass. The
reason the windshield was replaced was because the spring came loose on the
wiper arm and it dug into the windshield. I have since replaced the defective
wiper arm and added two new sets of blades. The seats have been reupholstered
and are in beautiful condition, the pictures don't do the seats justice. I also
had the floorboards fixed (see photos), the rug is still in great shape. The
headliner is in very good condition as are the door panels. I replaced the radio
and put in new speakers in the back and in the front kick panels. There is a
carpet pad on the dash. The trunk has been painted and is in very good
condition. It has a spare tire and the jack is only there for show, it is not
the correct jack but, it will come with a hydraulic jack and a four way tire
iron. This car goes down the road straight as an arrow and handles like it
should. It is not a show car but, it is not a Bondo Buggy either. this car is a
daily driver and if you want to get it into showroom like condition, you won't
have to pour a ton of money into it. It is well worth the price I am asking for
it and I urge you to see it and drive it before you bid on it. As with any car
this age it is sold without a warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied.
I have the paperwork for what has been done to the car with the exception of the
paint job but, once you see it, you will know that it is a fresh paint job, done
right and not by some hack. This car needs nothing and it is up to you as to how
far you want to go to completely restore it, or you can just drive it like it
is. It passed a New York state inspection in October of last year and New York
has one of the toughest inspection laws in the country. It truly is a nice car.
